At MEJ Church, our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus. We are a non-denominational church, which means our focus is not on labels, but on helping people know God, grow in faith, and live out His purpose for their lives.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true, trustworthy, and relevant for our lives today. It guides what we believe and how we live.
We believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is loving, faithful, and desires a personal relationship with every person.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, gave His life on the cross for our sins, rose again, and offers forgiveness, hope, and new life to all who follow Him.
We believe salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s not something we earn—it’s something we receive through trusting Him.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within believers, guiding us, empowering us to live God-honoring lives, and helping us grow in our faith.
We believe the Church is not a building, but people. We are called to worship God, love one another, serve our community, and share the love of Jesus with the world.
We believe in water baptism as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and in communion as a way to remember His sacrifice and celebrate His grace.
We believe following Jesus impacts every part of life. We are called to live with love, humility, generosity, and purpose—reflecting Christ in our everyday actions.
We believe in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and the hope we have in Him—both now and forever.
